The Bauer Core Facility provides state-of-the-art instrumentation and expertise to scientists at Harvard. Our goal is to advance research efforts in the life sciences that cannot readily be accomplished in the traditional academic laboratory because of a need for expensive instrumentation, scientific or organizational infrastructure, or multidisciplinary expertise.

Our expert staff offers training and support so that researchers may run many of our instruments independently. For some technologies where independent use isn't practical, our staff will perform experiments on a fee-for-service basis.
