**Oxford Nanopore:** By default, we will perform base-calling and demultiplexing to return fastq files. fast5 files are also available. Data analysis is concurrent with the run but can take up to 2 extra days to finish.

**PacBio:** By default, we return HiFi reads (consensus reads). Subreads are also available. Data analysis begins as soon as the first flow cell finishes sequencing and typically takes 8 hours to complete. Please allow up to 2 days after the run finishes for us to review and send the data.

For help accessing data, see [these instructions](https://informatics.fas.harvard.edu/how-can-i-download-my-sequencing-data.html). We keep data for 90 days after the analysis is complete.

We recommend that all FAS researchers meet with the [Informatics team](http://informatics.fas.harvard.edu/) before submitting samples. They offer tools, training, and support to enable additional analysis.
