Sort**\#1**

**Q: How can I download my sequencing data?**

A: Once the run is finished, a link to the demultiplexed fastq files is provided via email.

See additional information from FAS Research Computing: [RC quick start guide](https://docs.rc.fas.harvard.edu/kb/quickstart-guide/) and[ introduction page](https://docs.rc.fas.harvard.edu/kb/introduction-to-cluster-online/)

**\#2**

**Q: How do I submit samples for sequencing?**

A: [See our instructions page here. ](/submitting-samples-illumina-sequencing)

**\#3**

**Q: I'm not sure what type of sequencing I need. What should I do?**

A: [Submit a Sequencing Estimate request](https://forms.gle/9nnXmtADFV11mLcF7) via our Google Form. Estimates are generated within 1-2 business days.

[See here for general sequencing recommendations.](/Experimental%20Design)

**\#4**

**Q: How should I transport my samples to the core?**

A: EH&S has local transport guidelines.[See this document for details](https://www.ehs.harvard.edu/sites/default/files/biological_material_infectious_substances_dry_ice_transportation.pdf). All samples coming through the building or locally must be in spill-proof double containment.
