Data Analysis

Any user of the Bauer Flow Core can sign up for a free FCSExpress site license that can be installed on your computer (you could use your login info for multiple computers if desired). To sign up, follow this link and register for a new DeNovo Software account (if you don't already have one). Make sure to use your Harvard University email address. Using your DeNovo Software login credentials, you can visit the FCSExpress Site Licence page for Harvard University to register for a license. Once we approve your request, you should receive an email with download instructions. The main page of the FCSExpress software has links to tutorials.

We also offer the use of three licenses of FlowJo. Each seat allows one user at a time. To use our licenses, please contact the flow cytometry staff. To learn more about FlowJo and access the tutorials, please visit FlowJo's website.

FCSExpress and Flowjo are full-featured analysis software with tools including gating, batch processing, histogram overlays, cell cycle, and proliferation analyses, to name a few.

For your convenience, we also have an analysis workstation in the lab with Flowjo and FCSExpress on it for analysis.
