Note that when Bauer Core performs sample quantification, we guarantee to deliver at least the lowest number in our advertised output range.

Custom Primers

  • NovaSeq/NextSeq500/MiSeq: We require 30 uL at 100 uM to either spike into the Illumina primers or to run with custom primers only. Indicate these details in your submission request.
  • NextSeq1000: If you want to spike your primers into the Illumina primers you will need to purchase these directly from Illumina and submit them with your sample for sequencing. Otherwise, we'll use your custom primer only for sequencing. Indicate these details in your submission request.

  • Single Read or Paired End reads up to 250 bp long
  • Option to run different samples on each lane
  • Four Flow Cell Types:
    • SP: 2 lanes, 360 - 400 M clusters/lane
    • S1: 2 lanes, 720 - 800 M clusters/lane
    • S2: 2 lanes, 1.8 - 2 B clusters/lane
    • S4: 4 lanes, 2.25 - 2.5 B clusters/lane
  • Kits available (used for sequence and index reads):
    • 100 cycle kit: up to 130 bases
    • 200 cycle kit: up to 230 bases
    • 300 cycle kit: up to 330 bases
    • 500 cycle kit (SP flowcell only): up to 516 bases.

Illumina NextSeq 500

    • High: 300 - 400 M clusters
    • Mid: 100 - 130 M clusters
  • Kits available (used for sequence and index reads):
    • 75 cycle kit: up to 92 bases (High Output only)
    • 150 cycle kit: up to 166 bases
    • 300 cycle kit: up to 316 bases

Illumina MiSeq

  • Four flow cell types:
    • Nano: up to 1 M clusters
    • Micro: 4 - 5 M clusters
    • v2: 12 - 15 M clusters
    • v3: 20 - 25 M clusters

    • 200 cycle kit: up to 238 bases (P2 only)
    • 300 cycle kit: up to 338 bases
