LRS Data Analysis

Oxford Nanopore: By default, we will perform base-calling and demultiplexing to return fastq files. fast5 files are also available. Data analysis is concurrent with the run but can take up to 2 extra days to finish.

PacBio: By default, we return HiFi reads (consensus reads). Subreads are also available. Data analysis begins as soon as the first flow cell finishes sequencing and typically takes 8 hours to complete. Please allow up to 2 days after the run finishes for us to review and send the data.

For help accessing data, see these instructions. We keep data for 90 days after the analysis is complete.

We recommend that all FAS researchers meet with the Informatics team before submitting samples. They offer tools, training, and support to enable additional analysis.
